Dinner Group Rocks the House!!!

Well all of those who know me know that I do not love to cook...
So last year when my freinds came to me and wanted to do a dinner exchange I was a bit sceptical (well I actually thought they were nuts). But I agreed to give it a try so for the past year I have have dinner ready on then table at 6:00pm sharp... But only to my credit on Wednesday's the other days of the week I don't even think about it!!! But just before Christmas we decided to freeze some of our ole' standbys because of crazy Christmas scheduals. It was a hit with us all. We love frozen dinners, we all got together and made them all, packaged and labeled them. Then you could just go to the freezer and pull out what ever you wanted. We loved it so much we decided to have another month of frozen dinners. It is so much fun and we have some excelent meals like; chicken cord on bleu, lazagna, cheese manicotti, sweet and sour meat balls, meat loaf, shredded BBQ beef, chicken pot pis and so much more!!! It has been really fun and we found a great cook book that walks you through some does and don'ts of freezing meals. So thanks girls for the yummy dinners!!!
Tonight it was 'Almost Ravioli' and it was a hit... tomorrow I am thinking Chicken Cacitorri

It just keeps coming!

Well we woke up this morning with yes you guessed it another 2 inches of snow and more to be expected in the next little bit... Spring cannot come soon enough this year...
My kids were so excited to GET to shovel the side walks again, evn though the last 3 times it has snowed I have shoveled it. But it got done for tonight anyway...

Summer? What is Summer?

Well this morning I shoveled again, it is my new winter workout, last night we got about 2 more new inches, which was nice because now it covered up all the ugly brown stuff for a little while. And it is a balmy 10' I didn't even need gloves while I was shoveling! I shouldn't complain we need it, and I really don't mind shoveling. But right now summer seems so far away...

A Very Merry Christmas

Even though Christmas was a month ago I am still thinking back at how fun our kids were this year, Ashlin woke up at 11:00 thinking that it was morning, of course Santa had not made it our way yet so she went back to bed just to reawake at 3:00am! The Boys were not thrilled about it either but we got up and opened presents and then we all went back to bed...And we all got more than we deserved for Christmas (some of us were not really that good) Giaged loves his new -50' snow boots and his new DVD player, Ashlin loved her Ashton Drake Breathing Baby and her new digital camera, and Keenen loved his new gaming station and chair. Each boy got a guitar hero so they could play double and we all loved that! Jeff got a new gun that he had to use a little before Christmas so he sould shoot his huge elk and I got a super cool new vacuum!!! I am not sure that Santa check the list twice this year...

relax

We are lovin' the quiet day around here (when we get them) but when we are not laying around playing Guitar Hero or bowling on the WII we go from Dance to Scouts to Dance to work to bowling night to well you get the picture... so when we get those days when there is not a schedual to follow we take full advantage and relax...
