This week we had quite the party, we had the Hawkes kids stay with us while thier Mom and Dad were out of town and then Trevin and Ginia were here for a visit also... It was tons of fun , Grandma Atwood had a donut making party, we went to the dollar store and played for hours!!! Gaige even had some one to play littlest petshop with him!!! We had so much fun! I even fed them and bathed them! (contrary to Anns belief)(she checked on us a few times)
However... It is a good thing that I stopped at 3!!!

Valentines Dinner

This is the table that Megan and I decorated for our Valentines dinner at the church, our ward does it every year. Each table is decorated by some one, some are fancy and some are fun, ours was both...We had fun both decorating it and having dinner. We went to see the movie 'Fools Gold' after dinner, it was a fun night with our honeys and friends...

We have never been realy Valentine celebraters, I mean sure we give the traditional card and candy and always have a special dinner but never anything big, and never suprises. This year my super, amazingly wonderful husband suprised me with the most beautiful white turquoise bracelet(one of my very favorite stones) it is so pretty and matches a ring and necklace that I already have. He really is amazing and I love hime so much but as Gaige said Valentines Day is kind of stupid you shouldn't need a holiday to tell someone that you love them and he is right really, I don't need a holiday to know that I am one of the luckiest people in the world.

Nothing to say

Well since Megan is calling me Ann and asking if I have fallen and can't get up I guess I will post and tell everyone with no regrets that I have nothing to say!!! Well that is not all true...I have plenty to say but nothing exciting has happened to us in the last few days!
Hooray for us!!!
Well we did have Jeff's birthday on the 12th he turned 35, wow that is really close to 40 huh? We had the family over for cake and ice cream. But that was it, he got his favorite meal of enchiladas and his favorite cake which is white cake with cream cheese frosting and coconut.
Then today all three kids were sick so we all stayed home and vegged out all day, the boys seem to be feeling much better but Ashlin is still running a fever and not feeling well at all. So we may have another vegg out day tomorrow i'll have to see.
So see Megan when I don't post it just means that nothing note worthy is happening which in my book is a good sign. I crave boredom...

With the help of friends...

So with the help of my firends and the pants I took right off thier back side... I have made 3 levi quilt tops that are all ready to be made into quilts!!! I have had so much fun sewing and cutting all the pieces, I didn't even think that I liked quilting and sewing all the little blocks and the tedious peicing but it has been super fun and I think that they have turned out great! It is something that I am afraid I could really get in to! Because I need another hobbie!

Tea Time!

Well in case you didn't read about it on Megans Blog I will tell you what awesome friends I have... We really never have needed a name or and occasion for us to get together for a visit but every week or so we call it a tea party. We have breakfast, tea and good conversation, which is my favorite part! Last week we had sausage, eggs hashbrowns and waffles at my house and this week we had super yummy muffins, fruit and dip at Melanies. I really have some special friends, who I just love and we never seem to run out of things to talk about. Who would have thought that at our age we are still lovin' tea parties!

Jeff has just found out about bloging and was wondering why he has not been included in this, so I have to tell you about him...we'll say it's a tribute to JEFF

He wanted a picture of himself on a four wheeler or something like that. Well this is one of the only pictures I could find, it is from a trip to Moab that he and Trent went on last spring. And it is totally 100% JEFF. I have to tell you that there is someting a little unsetteling seeing your husband that far off the gound with a machine that weighs almost 1000 lbs. But that is Jeff and believe it or not he is in complete control. Jeff has gotten a little more cautious in his old age which is good for me and our 3 kids...

But all things aside Jeff is the most amazing person I know, he does everything with his whole heart, he loves, he works, and he plays with so much passion. You can never question Jeff's spirit or determintaion. He is an amazing father, when I dream of the perfect Dad for my children Jeff is it. Sometimes I am jealous of my kids for the wonderful father they get to have...

Jeff is the best and he is my best friend, I geuss that I could even get corney and say that he is my other half and my soul mate, I couldn't even imagine my life without him nor would I want to, even though he thinks that this blogging thing is sorftof dumb...

My color... Yellow!!!

Super Bowl???

Well I guess tonight there was an upset with the super bowl, but I hardley noticed...
We did go to Megan and Pauls house for a super bowl party and some of us actually watched the game. But for me it is more about the food (obviously) and the friends...
It was fun to just sit and visit with Megan, Ashley and Ann. They are some of my favorite people, and we never seem to run out of things to talk about.
So even though there was an occasion to get together we barely noticed what was going on, the kids played and had a ton of fun, the guys watched the game and were totally into it and we were in our own little world,
which is good because we know eachother there...
